“The Kitchen” announced as the closing film of the BFI London Film Festival 2023!

Today it was announced that “The Kitchen”, by directors Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, is the closing film of the BFI London Film Festival 2023! The movie has its world premiere on the 15th of October before its release in UK cinemas and its subsequent launch on Netflix. “The Kitchen”, starring Kane Robinson, Jedaiah Bannerman, Hope Ikpoku Jr, Teija Kabs, Demmy Ladipo, Cristale and BackRoad Gee, tells the story of Izi (Robinson) and Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman), who are feeling the consequences of the stretching gap between rich and poor and who are fighting a system that’s absolutely against them. Tickets for this screening and all the other BFI London Film Festival screenings will go on sale on the 12th of September. BFI Members can book early from the 6th of September, and American Express® Cardmembers can access presale from the 8th of September.
