The Barbie and Drive actor and the former Apple Original Films executive team up with Amazon MGM Studios

He’s not just Ken anymore. Well, Ryan Gosling has always been much more than that, anyway. In addition to being an actor, producer, and director, he’s now helming, together with former Apple Original Films executive Jessie Henderson, a brand-new production company. With their new venture, General Admission, they want to work with world-renowned filmmakers to create bold and entertaining features across all genres for cinemas and streaming platforms.

With a multi-year first-look film deal signed with Amazon MGM Studios, it’s highly likely that we’ll see some of General Admission’s features on Amazon Prime. This strategic partnership gives Amazon MGM Studios the first look rights on narrative movies, some of which will undoubtedly feature Gosling and are intended for theatrical and streaming releases.
